Power Platform Functional Consultant (UK Remote)

TechLabs London is an exponentially growing technology company, a Premium Microsoft Partner, and the team behind iProperty Cloud, a complete Housing Management Solution (HMS) built on Microsoft Dynamics 365 CE / CRM and the Power Platform.


We are looking to expand our team by bringing in an experienced capable Power Platform Functional Consultant with strong customer-facing consultancy skills within the Property and Housing Industry.


As the Power Platform Functional Consultant, you will work closely with clients, business stakeholders, project delivery teams and other business units to understand, define and deliver complex requirements and business processes as Power Platform and Dynamics 365 solutions.

 

Role Skills and Responsibilities:

  • Facilitating discussions with business and technical stakeholders to extract critical business requirements and present a functional vision and solutions in the form of Power Platform Apps, Power Apps, Dynamics 365 solution with configurations and customisations to meet customer needs and project objectives.
  • Working closely with the Solutions team to develop solution proposals that includes scope, assumptions, implementation plan, and technology solution options to meet project goals as well as longer term needs.
  • Providing functional input and guidance to the project team throughout the implementation to ensure accurate delivery of project plans.
  • Providing current best practices and solution alternatives as part of functional or technical design documents.
  • Communicating complex topics regarding solutions and related projects to audiences both with and without deep technical skills.
  • Balancing business users’ requests and requirements with Technology and Platform constraints.
  • Assisting with providing inputs to the project plans, estimates and scope for sales proposals and statements of work.
  • Documenting and writing of specifications for Technical team members and developers in a clear and concise approach.
  • Participating in implementation customization and configuration for Power Platform and Dynamics 365 solutions both Canvas Apps and Model Driven Apps.
  • Ensuring consistent release management, change management and project approval processes.

Required skills and experience:  

  • Experience in the Property Services / Housing Industry is highly desirable
  • Knowledge and proven experience in building Power Platform and Power Apps
  • Any Microsoft Dynamics 365 (CRM) Customer Engagement experience is highly desirable.
  • Experience working in an Agile Scrum environment is highly desirable.
  • Ability to be client-facing including effectively communicating with the client, leading meetings, and capturing and distributing action items.
  • Ability to successfully communicate information to both internal and client stakeholders as well as team members.
  • Strong understanding of when to use native features and when it is appropriate to use custom development.
  • Excellent Functional and IT skills including the ability to learn new Technologies, Innovation features and demo our Technology solutions and modules to customers.
  • Organisational skills, ability to work on their own initiative without detailed guidance in a fast-paced environment.
  • Ability to effectively use remote collaboration tools like Slack, Azure DevOps or Microsoft Teams.

Work Arrangements:

  • This is a full-time, permanent job with remote working opportunities provided the candidate can work effectively.
  • There is occasional travel to client sites depending on the business needs.
