TechLabs London is going through a significant growth, and we are looking to expand our team by bringing in a dynamic and proactive Senior Project Manager, working in our Development Centre of Excellence in Cairo, Egypt.
Job Purpose:
The Project manager will be responsible for planning and overseeing Application Support and internal TLL projects to ensure they are completed within the defined time frame, scope, and budget. The Project Manager will plan and designate project resources, prepare budgets, monitor progress, and keep internal and external stakeholders informed the entire way. This role is managing internal operations and projects.
Responsibilities:
Developing project plans which define the actions required to meet the project goals. Executing these plans whilst monitoring progress from the outset through to closure.
Managing budgets, risks, issues, dependencies, and change.
Correctly allocating resources to maximise quality and efficiency.
Managing end to end implementation and delivery of all elements as defined in the project plans.
Acting as single point of contact for assigned projects.
Engaging with key stakeholders in multiple business areas to scope business needs and identify key pain points to overcome as well as defining quick wins where possible.
Ability to rapidly build relationships with stakeholders with different backgrounds.
Managing project lifecycle, ensuring effective scope control, and ensuring solution compliance to business objectives.
Capable of demoing Technology solutions and functionality to various stakeholder groups.
Experience in Property and Housing Industry is highly desirable.
Required Skills and Experience:
Ability to understand our business, our technology, products, and market approaches is an essential part of this role.
Working experience in Agile SCRUM or Agile Kanban environment.
Motivational by leading by example and supporting the team throughout the projects.
Role requires an exceptionally organised individual, able to work on their own initiative without detailed guidance on multiple projects at any one time.
Hard working and quick turn-around of tasks is also essential in our highly demanding and fast paced work environment.
Excellent Technical and IT skills including the ability to learn new Technologies and demo our Technology solutions to customers.
Working experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform is an advantage.
TechLabs London is a Technology Start-up with a faced paced environment and a fully digital operations and procedures, so an Advanced Computer user knowledge and skills are an absolute must. Almost all our business operations are conducted online, via chat platform (Slack), Kanban boards (Trello) and communication via Digital platforms (Microsoft Teams).
Main Areas of Responsibility
Develop project scopes, objectives, and deliverables in collaboration with senior management to ensure technical feasibility.
Coordinate internal resources and ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget.
Monitor and track project progress. Manage changes to the project scope, schedule, and costs using proper Change management process.
Measure project performance using proper tools and techniques, and report to management as needed.
Create detailed reports and ensure adherence to all project management and company standards during project execution.
Schedule and attend project meetings, ensuring clear communication of project statuses, deadlines, and ongoing issues and Risks.
Provide administrative support as needed, including preparing presentations and maintaining plans and documentation.
Assist project teams with the coordination of resources, meetings, and information.
Communicate and Manage Customers expectations for all support projects.
Align projects with business goals and objectives with internal and external stakeholders.
Engage with Customer and other stakeholders to define business requirements and project impacts.
Analyse project outcomes and make recommendations for improvement based on the metrics.
Skills Requirements
8+ years of experience in project management, preferably with high-impact projects
Core PM experience managing internal business projects and Application Support projects.
Trello, Devops, Teams and other Microsoft Tools knowledge
Agile Project Management experience.
Strong understanding of project management techniques and methods.
Excellent time management and coordination skills.
Proficiency in project management software tools, methodologies, and best practices.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills.
Ability to work Remotely with large and diverse teams and Customers.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering, Management, Project Management, or a related field.
Certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2, Scum Master) preferred.
Strong English Skills (Spoken and Written) is a must.
